Royal visit to show importance of biobased material transition
Today, we welcomed some very special guests: Constantijn Van Oranje-Nassau, Peter Wennink and the staff of the National Growth Fund. Together with the Sustainable Industry Department of the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth, they paid a working visit to BioBased Circular and toured our pilot plant in Emmen.
Together with Koninklijke Van Wijhe Verf B.V. and Senbis Polymer Innovations B.V., we demonstrated what is required to scale up groundbreaking technologies such as ours, why the biobased materials transition is crucial, and how BioBased Circular supports this step forward.
The guests were enthusiastic about the strong regional cooperation and saw clear opportunities for the innovative power of the Netherlands — and for a future-proof, sustainable industry.
